So it seems like this is a new gas to support Picture edits while in the iOS8/Yosemite ecosystem. Considering that Aperture hasn't been up-to-date, no less than so far it seems that on-mobile phone Picture edits are gonna get lost at the least till Yosemite drops...and maybe not at all for Apert
